She was born from the ancient magic of a crystal cove, awakening to the sound of its humming walls and carrying within her strange powers that shaped both her body and her voice. With horns like a triceratops, stone-tough skin, and a song capable of bending light and trembling the earth itself, she grew up knowing the cove as her only home—until curiosity finally pulled her beyond its shores. There, she found Lou, a bizarre, half-drowned sea-creature struggling to teach an opinionated bird how to fetch, and though she could only stare at him with eternal judgment at first, something about his ridiculousness made her stay. Their unlikely companionship grew from awkward silences, strange questions, ancient runes, and Lou's painfully terrible jokes, with her quiet and controlled nature balancing his endless chaos. She never admitted how much she enjoyed his company, but little by little, Lou taught her things the cove never could: how to smile without hiding behind her strength, how to sit beside someone without fear, and how to let her voice become gentle instead of powerful. And when the tides eventually carried them apart, she realized she had left the cove curious about the world—but she left Lou knowing what it meant to care for someone.
